CAROLE TARLINGTON is a legend in the entertainment industry in Canada. She is an acting teacher, former agent and casting director, director, author and free-lance drama consultant. Co-founder of the award winning Vancouver Youth Theatre, (VYT), she was also its Artistic Director until 1996. During her time at the theatre, Carole created numerous plays with young people and established an international reputation for the theatre.

In 1996 she established Tarlington Training Inc., a unique acting studio for young actors. The studio offers classes to young people age 5 to 20 and, is recognised in the industry as the finest of its type in Canada. The studio offers workshops and coaching to both novice and very experienced actors. She has trained, nurtured and discovered actors who have appeared in film and television in Canada, the U.S. and around the world, including Kristin Kreuk (“Smallville”), Brendan Fletcher (“Tideland”), Cole Heppell (“The Fog”), Jesse Moss and Amanda Crew (“Whistler”), Joely Collins (“Cold Squad”), Ryan Reynolds (“The Proposal”), Sarah Chalke (“Scrubs”), Emily Hirst (“Blade”) and Jessica Amlee (CBC's ”Heartland”, also the youngest Leo Award winner ever for “Love Crimes Of Gillian Guess”).

As well as teaching, Carole directs and writes with young people, and her plays have been performed in Canada, U.K., Japan, U.S. and Australia. A long time advocate of young people's rights, Carole is well-known at home and abroad as a keynote speaker and workshop leader. She has presented in Australia, U.K. Hong Kong, Canada and U.S.A. Her original Production of “Canadian Stories” was seen by audiences totaling 120,000 in Canada, U.K., Australia and U.S.A.

Carole has received numerous awards for her contribution to young people, for to the industry, including the 2008 Woman Of The Year award from Women In Film & Television Vancouver.

For the past 12 years FAY NASS has dedicated her life to the art of theatre and film. She has extensive experience in directing, acting, dramaturgy and film studies. After many years involved in film and theatre both in Canada and the Middle East, Fay decided to extend her knowledge by attending the University of Victoria where she studied both art, from a practical and academic perspective. She then graduated with MFA in Directing and a minor in Film Studies with distinction. Her directing credits include: “No Exit “, “Hunger And Thirst,” “The Shy Situationist", “Torturing Lust “(film) and “Kill Your Darlings” (film).

Fay also assistant directed Donna Spencer for the production of "Stuff Happens” at the Firehall Arts Centre in the Fall of 2008. She is currently working on her own project which received the development award from The North Vancouver Cultural Affair. Fay recently established her own theatre company, “Theatre Phantasie”, which focuses on elements of absurdisim and magical realism as well as creating a bridge between different cultures and different theatre techniques all around the world.
